Darrell Dallye Dodson, 61, passed from this life on Monday, May 28, 2012. A vigil will be held at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, June 1, 2012 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm where the family will greet guests.
Darrell was born on January 15, 1951 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Belton and Neva Dodson. He grew up in the Norman area, graduating Norman High School with the class of 1969. He later moved to Stillwater and attended Oklahoma State University where he earned his Bachelor s of Science Degree in Education. He worked for many years as a printer with Oberlin Color Press until recently retiring. He was also known as a civil war buff and enjoyed going to watch reenactments.
Darrell is survived by his son Zachary Dodson of Tulsa; significant other Sherl Holesko of Stillwater, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
